Ivy growth was out of control on the stone walls at the entrance to Kilcornan. This prolific ivy growth risked permanent damage to the old stone walls. Corlann (previously BOSCI) worked to remove the ivy, preserving the old domain walls.

K-C SEC made an application for funding for solar panels. They were successful with that funding application and then installed 38 solar panels in Colga FC. That has helped to significantly increase sustainability locally, reducing our impact on the environment.
CTT is the proud owner of a "Weedex" machine. This is a mechanical weed remover which can clean footpaths. It removes moss, weeds and dirt using rotating wire brushes (avoiding the need for chemicals), further improving our sustainability.
